Its Just Not Cricket!!

I have been with MTN since my very 1st cell phone (more than 10 yrs) and every 2 yrs I renew/upgrade my contract around Christmas time with MTN despite them not giving even a free battery/charger (saying that their prices are the lowest so they dont give away 'freebies'-HAHA sure they're the cheapest! pffft!).

I decided this year, to either wait for the BB10 or downgrade to the correct contract for the phone I use (I got my current phone on my MTN500 contract but could have taken the same phone on MTN200 contract at the time). I apparently have to wait til April to downgrade & BB10 is not available yet, both out of my control. I have discovered, much to my disappointment that MTN are no longer giving me the discounts that applied to my last contract period (Dec '10 - Dec '12) and my account has gone up by over R100 as a result.

Nobody has shown any interest in contacting me to offer me an upgrade, nor has anyone had the decency or courtesy to inform me that, even though I have to wait til April to downgrade (because of my initial contract signed in April of a yr lost in the mists of time which they allowed me to upgrade on 20 mths) the discounts fall away. Explanation!
