Good day Vodacom,
I have just requested and received a quote to have my 3G contract cancelled prematurely. I'm very upset that you want to charge me for 6 months worth of data that i won't be able to use should i cancel the contract in within the next 7 days. It basically adds an additional R1700 to my final settlement amount!
I respectfully request that you reconsider your position towards loyal customers. Yes, i want to cancel my contract, but it doesn't mean i want to stop using your service all together. It really makes Vodacom out to be a who is just trying to bite the hands that feeds it at every turn. I fully understand having to pay the outstanding amount on the computer, 3G modem my current outstanding balance. What feels like slap in the face is the extra 6 months worth of service I'm being charged for but won't receive if i cancel today. This surely has to go against current CPA rules as well as common decency?
