After much trouble and bad service from Vodacom I decided to cancel my contract and switch to another service provider (who gave me excellent service!)
I proceeded in calling the Vodacom Call Centre and find out who I can cancel my contract and settle the FULL settlement amount. I was sent a settlement quote and went to a Vodacom shop and paid the amount in full. I requested that my number be kept on prepaid to enable my new service provider to port my number to their network. That happened within the 48 hours as specified. I did loose all my accumulated airtime and dada balance as specified. HOWEVER, I was NOT told and the quote did NOT specify that the so called "FULL settlement amount" I was paying was indeed not the FULL settlement amount and that my next debt order will still be debited on my account.
When I phoned the call centre this morning the person I spoke to just agreed that I was suppose to have been told and that I can rise a complaint with the Cancelation department.
I find this unacceptable, I asked to pay the FULL settlement on my account, AND when I did I lost all the airtime and data that I now STILL paid for after the cancelation!
