I took my phone in over 3 months ago for repairs. vodacom refused to fix it and said i could pay R3 000 for a new one. i still havent recieved that phone back from them. i've now asked for a quote to cancel my contract as this was the second phone to give issues during this contract, and i refuse to pay for a known blackberry issue. there are 7 months left on my contract and they want to charge me R2 100 to cancel it. ironically, just below the amount for a new headset. the handset installment on my invoice is R26 a month. if i cancel my contract, i dont get free minutes, data, sms's or even my phone back . they want me to pay R2 100 so i can stop the debit order on my account. this is daylight and vodacom thinks its fine to do this to its customers. i will be forwarding this to the consumer complaints commission too, so they become aware of what vodacom is doing to their customers.
