Virgin still charging on settled account

My wife's cell contract was almost up for expiry, so we called in to cancel & settle the contract and received a settlement amount so we could pay up earlier (which we did - amount of R554 paid on the 12/08). A few days later she took out a new contract with Vodacom, and the number port request to Vodacom from Virgin was confirmed.

Then in Sept an amount of R88 came off and then in Oct a full instalment (R321) came off again. Seems Virgin doesn't realise that when you settle, the contract is PAID UP and COMPLETE!

After a few calls to the centre, they still don't seem to grasp this. They are only wanting to implement a stop on the contract now (2 months later) even though they can see the contract has a zero balance since August! The money needs to be refunded Virgin Mobile!
