Account suspended.
My brother recently decided to get his first contract phone and took an offer from MTN. Due to the fact that he is still very young and not familiar with how payments to creditors work he paid his account via EFT (not knowing that it will be debited from his bank account). With his actions and knowing he paid his account his account was suspended. I first went to MTN in Key West and the gentleman there understood my request and faxed through the proof of payment to get my brothers account back up again. 3 Days after that still no action. My brother decided to go to MTN Key West. They faxed the proof of payment with the account details to the accounts department and advised him with a bad attitude that the account will be rectified and it should be working soon. We are sitting on the 19th day of February and his phone is still not working. He is driving with a motorcycle on a daily basis and has no mobile communication what so ever. I would really like this to be rectified as this is unacceptable. My brother can't even phone MTN from his cell phone nor send sms's. Can someone please try to solve this matter; I don't have time to go to MTN to follow-up on someth
