Paid on a debit order but account suspended why?

I have a debit order on me and my girlfriends account where we have 3phones on that account
The debit order went off on the 25th as usual but for some or other reason they suspended
the account and now its such effort to fax through proof of payment as we both are working during the day and then on top of that we have to now wait 72hours for it to be switched back on
I mean come on how the do you operate how can you suspend a account that is paid with a debit order
than on top of all of that when you call for assistance you get treated as if you are a bad payer
im going to the newspapers with this as i use my phone for business but now suspended why heaven alone knows
