Received an SMS after hours, that my balance has been exceeded, and my account has been softlocked. My credit limit was reached due to a once off payment for my upgrade. There is no warning as to inform me in advance that my account will be 'soft locked' if i do not pay this amount by a certain date. On top of this, i asked for an option of doing an EFT to sort the payment out... she informed me i should call the bank and ask for Vodacom's banking details, and a tel. number was provided. After hours, banks do not respond. Today i phone 082 111 again and ask for assistance... this time i am asked to make a once off payment to the Vodacom public account with my bank, and send through proof of payment. This was done, Waited 1h30mins as was instructed, phone still locked. I phoned 082 111 again, give ID, bank details, residence etc... transfered to acounts... give ID, Bank Details, Residence etc... given a code to input into phone, transfered to customer acquisition, code not accepted, end of call. Phone 082 1945, wait for operator... call ended... call 082 1946, waited for operator, again call ended... My phone is still locked and the payment has been made!! Where's the problem??
