Vodacom
VODACOM

In October 2013 a upgrade was done on my line, contacted vodacom and was promised that I'd be phoned by the dept. No one ever phoned me and I had to do my own follow ups. At the beginning of December they credited the account with R340 which was not the whole amount of R736. In December I did my own upgrade for a top up contract and it kicked in at 01 January 2014. The next day my phone got locked and when I phoned Vodacom they said I'm in arrears by R395 which is the outstanding amount vodacom still needed to credit. On 5th January I went to Canal walk and the lady that helped me said I've exceeded my limit and should phone the 0821946 number on Monday to arrange payment which I didn't have a problem with. On 6th January I spoke to Lisa in the 082 1946 number and she said there's another problem with the account and I need to go back to Canal Walk. This time she said for February I have been billed over 3000 for the handset instead of splitting it in instalments over 24 months. I then got an sms with a credit of R149.12 and not the whle R395. IVE BEEN TAKEN FROM PILLAR TO POST BY VODACOM AND STUCK HERE WITH A LOCKED HANDSET AND A BAD CREDIT RECORD.
