What is my account limit?

Well done, you've caught us out. In November 2012 we took a contract on a 3G modem with the understanding that we have a 1GB cap. This was never explained differently by any of your salespersons. We used data until one day we could not connect anymore, thus we thought we have reached our cap. In December we used our data, but never reached the point that we could not connect, thinking we stayed within our cap. On the 2nd of January 2013 I received a sms stating that I did in fact reach my limit, from our understanding our cap. But this was not the case since my phone was soft locked for some reason. I have a debit order for my monthly bill and have never missed a payment. Why on earth would my phone be locked. We all know the importance of our phones in this society. I have been job hunting and now my way of communication have been locked. Very upset I phoned Vodacom to find out what the problem was, just to find out that my phone have been soft locked due to a R1 300 account on my 3G modem contract. My phone was unlocked for a week when I received another sms stating that my phone has been soft locked. My Dec account is R 3000.00 and my phone is once again soft locked.
