Telkom's Service Terrible

I reported a fault on my Grandmother's line on Feb 2nd. She is old and doesn't know how these things work so I offered to do it for her, big mistake. Logged the fault with Telkom and was told they would come out as soon as they could. Someone eventually came out on the 7th Feb, had a look and left telling her they would be back tomorrow. No show. I have been phoning Telkom everyday since then trying to see when they will go back but nobody can actually tell me when. The line was actually repaired late last year for the same problem but started again early in Feb this year, she showed me what they actually did. A half job of re-joining the wire that leads from the street pole to the house, covered in insulation tape. I actually had a telkom guy at my workplace the other day and when I asked him, he said this should not be done. Telkom actually has to replace that whole length of wire and it is for their account as it falls between the house and the street... I received an escalation ref no on the 11th of Feb and was told I would be contacted on my cell no... It's the 15th and I haven't heard a peep. Telkom are asleep behind the desk and I am very annoyed with their service
