I applied for an ADSL line 4 weeks ago. The Tech came out a week later knocked on the door and said he is going to the pole. We can see the pole from our back door and he was never there. I then called Telkom the next day as no one notified me what the problem was. I was told there was an underground cable problem. I then told them that there is also no cable coming from my pole to my house. I went to the telkom store in eastgate and told them they need to advise the techs that will come that they need to pull a wire from the pole to my house.
The tech came today again and said he is going to the pole and guess what, he never returned.
I called and they said they have to hand over once again to the cable guys and this could take up to 3 weeks.
This is really bad service as i advised Telkom many times about this cable that i missing. What was the use then of them sending them out today as i told them what the problem was.
Could someone at telkom get back to me.
