13/2 Reported Netgear (got it from afrihost 12/2) modem not working as it should; 14/2 9h00 again contacted afrihost, eventually at around 11h00 someone phones me, cannot help, promise someone will phone me, at around 15h00 Eugene phones, after 30 minutes decide modem is faulty, will replace via courier tomorrow. Promises to email this decision to me, does not. Then at 4:27pm I get completely different advice via email. Last resort phone support (again) and am told (Ali) the latest email is rubbish and Ali agreed that if I do not receive a replacement modem tomorrow I can send back the modem and will cancel my afrihost account. Then get the message "Our testing centre must test the router first to assess. If the unit itself is faulty it will be replaced & delivered to you". So no service, bad product, conflicting advice and decisions, and no idea of the Consumer Act. Bet you this will not feature on their self-praising feedback pages. Afrihost. Pure Internet Agony.
