I have a bundled internet package (Afrihost are my ISP and they handle the Telkom DSL)
I just upgraded to a 4meg line
Received an SMS confirming upgrade complete then immediately lost my internet
Called Afrihost they could not sort out the problem. They logged a support ticket with Telkom. Fair enough - I understand problems happen
7 days later issue was not resolved.
I called Afrihost who confirmed their portion and the Telkom portion are functioning 100%.
I still had no internet.
Their conclusion was a problem with my modem. I have 2 modems neither worked.
I took the one modem to Telkom. They tested it, found to be 100%
To date, I have
o Paid my internet upfront for the month
o Been disconnected over 1/3 of the month;
o Been invoiced, debited, twice for an upgrade I never received;
o Received incorrect diagnosis of my working modem
o Spent over 60min of my airtime because consultants did not phone back when they said they would

You guys were doing so well in the beginning...
I don't want to change ISP - I love the look and feel of what you guys are about but your support department is not coming to the party here...
