I am very disappointed in Vodacom's service.

I upgraded to a Nokia Lumia 820 on my TopUp 315 contact and was not informed that LTE does not work with TopUp contracts. I now have an LTE enabled phone but cannot use the LTE feature.

I went to VodaWorld today and asked if my contract can be changed to a Smart Standard 229 account which would be LTE enabled. The total cost of the Nokia Lumia on Smart Standard 229 is R 269pm.

I was first told that I would have to wait 3 months. Then I was told that it can be changed as of the 1st of March, but the cost would be much higher than R 269pm, despite the fact that it is currently on offer for that price. The inconvenience I'm experiencing as a result of not having been told that TopUp contracts are not compatible with LTE phones is being completely ignored. And no effort has been made by VodaCom to remedy the problem. No effort has been made to compensate me in any way for this inconvenience that has been caused. I have been sent from pillar to post and I have not even received so much as an apology for the mishap.

I just need my package be migrated to the Smart Standard 229 package for R 269pm as of the 1st of March.
