False advertising and cellphone contract problems

There is a Vodacom deal at Hifi Corporation: get two Blackberry's for R199pm. One Blackberry is then on contract (with BIS activated) and the other is on topup: R49pm. Unfortunately they did not tell us that BIS cannot be activated on the second Blackberry (topup). Even Vodacom could not activate BIS and they said it's part of the contract with Hifi-corporation and TPPC. The second Blackberry can't therefore use BIS. (Although this was not made clear on the advert)

I therefore had to arrange myself with TPPC (which took a while due to people not answering phones) to activate BIS at a cost of R62 pm (debitorder) with the first payment of R124!
The Contract SIM for the first Blackberry did not have CLIP enabled (to provide caller ID): this is another R9 pm. This function is usually standard on Prepaid services. (itemized billing was another R13pm)

Initially we decided on this R199pm contract to provide phones for two family members. It turns out to be more expensive. If we knew the actual cost per month from the start, other contracts could have been considered.

Please tell the customer the EXACT cost before hand!!
