What was promised was not delivered

Ont he 14th Dec'12 I received a call from Kashiefah, offering me a MTN deal which I opted to take on the condition that my existing Vodacom number be ported to MTN. I received a prt form which I returned to Akhona on the 14th Dec'12. The Phone and sim card was delivered on the 20th Dec'12 and when I called 808 MTN to activate, I was told that my existing no was not ported as originally promised. I was told by MTN to contact Summer Mobile directly as they could only assist, when I called Summer mobile there was a voice mail Thanking me for my call and stating the office was closed from the 21st Dec and reopens on the 7th Jan. On the 7th Jan I called and spoke to Jackie who confirmed that there was a port request form amongst my documentation, When I told her how irate I was and that they should cancel te contract she told me I've passed the cooling off period and that I am liable for the cancellation fee as well as the contract. She then reassured me that the new no would not be activated and cancelled and she would ensure my no was ported. I've just spoken to MTN and they have still not received the port no. request, and I've been holding for 45 min for a line at Summer Mobile.
