I bought a phone in December from MTN Direct, I requested that my number be ported from Vodacom but that never happened. I took the phone back to the store, without having activated or used the phone in any way. I am still waiting for that phone to be cancelled, after countless phone-calls. No one seems to know what they are doing, including the woman that sold me the phone in the first place. I am currently being billed for two lines but I only have one existing line with MTN.
This will interfere with my credit rating. I then reversed and stopped paying for the contract that I have cancelled. MTN has now suspended the line that I am currently using even though I have paid that line in full. I have made countless calls to the company and also got my lawyer to call them but my phone is still suspended. I don't know what to do anymore. Please assist. My number is 071-130-9033
