I AM DISGUSTED IN THE SERVICE I RECEIVED FROM VODACOM THE GLEN STORE. THE STORE I AM REFFERING TO IS THE ONE OPPOSITE THE COTTON ON STORE. LAST WEEK TUESDAY I WENT INTO THE STORE TO GET A PHONE FOR MY BROTHERS BIRTHDAY GIFT. I WAS ADVISED TO FILL IN A FORM TO START THE APPLICATION PROCESS FOR THE CONTRACT. I SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR THE BLUE SAMSUNG Z FLIP AND AZI (STAFF) ADVISED THAT THERE IS STOCK IN THE WAREHOUSE AND SHE WILL CALL ON WEDNESDAY TO ORDER THE PHONE. WHEN LEAVING THE STORE I WAS TOLD THAT WHEN I COME COLLECT THE PHONE I NEED TO BRING MY 3 MONTHS BANK STATEMENT. ON FRIDAY THE 11TH OF NOVEMBER, I RECEIVED A WHATSAPP MESSAGE FROM AZI ADVISING THAT I NEED TO EMAIL HER MY 3 MONTHS BANK STATEMENT OF WHICH I DID. I WENT INTO THE STORE ON SATURDAY TO COLLECT THE PHONE GIVEN MY BROTHERS BIRTHDAY WAS ON THE 13TH NOVEMBER. WHEN I GOT TO STORE I WAS TOLD THAT I NEED TO PROVIDE THEM WITH MY MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE DUE TO THE CHANGE OF SURNAME THEY PICKED UP. FOR THE LIFE OF ME, I AM STILL TRYING TO UNDERSTAND WHY THAT WAS NEEDED GIVEN HOW LONG I HAVE BEEN MARRIED AND MY ID REFLECTS MY MARRIED SURNAME, NONE THE LESS I PROVIDED THE SCAN COPY I HAD ON MY PHONE. AZI SAID SHE WILL SUBMIT IT ON THE SYSTEM WHILE I WALKED AROUND THE MALL. WHEN I GOT BACK TO THE STORE, SHE THEN ADVISES SHE NEEDS THE ORIGINAL OF WHICH SHE DID NOT TELL ME FROM WORD GO. SHE THEN ADVISES THAT I GO TO A CAFE AND SEND IT THROUGH AND THE STAFF PROCESSING WILL THEN HAVE A LOOK AT IT ON THE SUNDAY. I GOT INTO MY CAR, I THEN TRIED FAXING IT THROUGH TO THE STORE. I CALLED AZI TO CONFIRM IF SHE RECEIVED IT HOWEVER SHE DID NOT ANSWER HER PHONE. I NEEDED TO DRIVE BACK TO THE GLEN AND TAKE NOTE I STAY IN ALBERTON, ITS NOT AROUND THE CORNER. I THEN GAVE HER MY ORIGINAL OF WHICH WAS THEN LOADED ON THE SYSTEM. THE STATUS WAS PENDING, I THEN HAD TO LEAVE THE STORE WITHOUT A PHONE. THE SUNDAY (ON THE DAY OF MY BROTHERS BIRTHDAY) AZI CALLED SAYING THE APPLICATION IS APPROVED AND IN THE SAME BREATHE TELLS ME OH WE DONT HAVE THE BLUE COLOUR PHONE. MY QUESTION IS, WHEN SHE SAID SHE IS ORDERING THE PHONE FROM THE WAREHOUSE BECAUSE THERE IS STOCK. WHERE IS THAT PHONE??? I GOT TO THE STORE, WAITED TO GET ASSISTANCE WHILE THE OTHER STAFF MEMBERS IN THE STORE JUST SAT AROUND ON THEIR PHONES NOT BOTHERED IN ASSISTING, AFTER ALL IM COMING TO COLLECT THE PHONE. FIRSTLY WHEN I ARRIVED I SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD WHAT DOCUMENTS ARE NEEDED FROM WORD GO. SECONLY AZI THAT WAS ASSISTING ME WAS TOO WORRIED ABOUT CHEWING HER BUBBLE GUM, THEN FOCUSING ON WHAT WAS NEEDED BEFORE STARTING THIS PROCESS. THE RUN AROUND - USING MY PETROL & PAYING FOR PARKING TICKETS CONSTANTLY??? WHO IS GOING TO BE RE-IMBURSING ME FOR THAT COST INCURRED. THE STAFF IN THE STORE ARE SO LAZY ALL THEY DO IS SIT AROUND ON THEIR PHONES. I AM NOW HAVING ISSUES FOR THE FACT MY BROTHER CAN NOT PORT HIS STUFF ONTO HIS NEW PHONE. I SENT AZI A WHATSAPP MESSAGE ADVISING OF THE ISSUE, SHES CLAIMING THAT SHE ASKED ME ABOUT PORTING THE NUMBER. THE ONLY QUESTION SHE ASKED ME IS AROUND CHANGING MY NUMBER AND I SAID THIS IS A GIFT FOR MY BROTHER SO IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MY NUMBER. THE ATTITUDE RECEIVED FROM AZI IS DISGUSTING... I NEED A SOLUTION TO GETTING MY BROTHERS NUMBER & STUFF PORTED ONTO HIS NEW PHONE. VODACOM YOU REALLY NEED TO LOOK AT THE UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF YOU EMPLOY IN THE STORE!! IT SAYS ALOT ABOUT YOUR BRAND
