Edgars Systems & Incompetent Department

My name is Dumo from Johannesburg. I received a call from the Edgars Department on the 28th February 2013, informing me of transactions on my Edgars Thank You card to the amount of R6 800.00, where purchases were made in Kwa-Zulu Natal on the 27th of February. I was advised to go to the nearest Edgars to report and was told that the account was blocked. I went to Edgars (The Glen) on the same day to report the account as per the Department's instructions. My query was first handled by Ayanda (Edgars The Glen) and she faxed the details to the Department on the 28th of February 2013.

I went back to check my query on Thursday 11th April (almost 6 weeks later) assisted by Thandi & Victor (Edgars The Glen) and was told that my account was still active (not blocked) and department never confirmed receiving my faxed query/details from the store (The Glen). Its almost 7 weeks now and my account is not resolved or even attended to for that matter and find that to be an inconvenience because I cannot use my account until this situation has been resolved.

Edgars is incompetent & im ready to cancel my membership.
