YDE The Glen management is putrid and incompetent. East Gate YDE contacted The Glen YDE requesting a size 3 shoe, i then drove all the way to The Glen to collect. The shoe was marked size 3 as well as the box and all the stickers only to find out its a size 4. I then had to drive all the way to The Glen AGAIN to exchange the shoe. They first expected me to drive to another branch to get the correct size and I refused and told them they better see that shoe is delivered to The Glen. I was then issued with a credit note and asked the cashier if my girlfriend can collect the shoe when it arrives. Standing in the shop with the necessary identification she confirmed that it wont be a problem. On Saturday my girlfriend was called advising her that the shoe had arrived, she then went to collect and they refused to process the transaction as i was not present after their staff advised it will not be a problem. The manager then came to the phone requesting a letter and a fax. Where would i get a fax machine on a saturday afternoon??? Then requests a photo of my ID to be sent to him, surely the risk of is higher if i send a picture of my identity than processing a lousy R450.
