I had a 1mbps uncapped account with Afrihost costing R297pm.
In February 2013 I upgrade my account to a 2mbps line and my debit order increased to R397pm.
Through recent interaction with Afrihost I discovered that I was never actually upgrade to a 2mbps package but I have been being charged for it since March 2013 as it reflects on my bank account.
Thus I feel entitled to R100 for every month. So that's R100 for Mar 2013 - Jan 2014, so 11 months = 11 x R100 = R1100.
Recently Afrihost did get back to me and refund me R100 by debiting my Jan payment with R197, a R100 discount on the correct debit order value of R297.
When I asked for an explanation I received this from Dimakatso:
"We can only credit a bundle discount once and not every month, as zayne has explained you were billed correctly"
I am really disappointment with the lack of transparency and total disregard for a customer service.
I have since moved to another service provider, however I still expect my refund and would appreciate some feedback in this regard.
