I am sick and tired of bad service.
I signed up with DSTV in December and requested a debit order go off on the 1st of every month.
1st Jan - i get a message to say my account has been unpaid. As a new client i assumed it would go off the next day but instead they disconnected me and asked me to pay a reconnection fee. I tell the consultant i want a debit order and i get told its sorted.
1 Feb - i get a message saying my debit order is unpaid... apparently my account doesnt exist (which is wierd considering 5 other companies debit it every month). I fill in forms and all is aparently sorted. they even give me R100 discount for moving to debit order.
1 March - i get a message saying my account is unpaid... again! and that I owe R652.72. Once again i complain and pay it manually. Then today i get a message to say that i need to pay an addition R2.28...payable immediately - Yes...R2.28.
I figured out where this comes from - I received an email stating:
Please note that you can now pay your account by debit order and received a discount of R100.00 on your first debit order thereafter a R2.28 discount monthly.
Wierd how the amount i owe and the debit order discount are the same!
