This is now the fifth time this has occurred with Cell C. This has been happening on differing numbers due to the fact that I continue to keep getting subscribed without my consent. Cell C states that it is my responsibility to contact the subscription provider at my expense and ask to be removed from these services which takes 3 - 4 days in some cases. I have lodged inquiries with Cell C asking for airtime reimbursement which they say they cannot do. I was told I must go in person to the head office in Sandton to request this. Then was informed that only one person in that building could authorize this and that she was not there.
Along with this I have had my account information changed into someone else's identity 4 times. This I did not request.
I then go to a Cell C location where they tell me I had to have made the request, only they can access to change the information on the system. Again, why would I decide to change my own number in to another individuals name when I intend to keep my own service in my name?
I have again requested airtime to offset the cost of physically going to a store to purchase a new sim & change my number & information. They do nothing.
