I've been with RsaWeb for a long time and it has been great until now. My internet has been running very slow and now they tell me I'm being throttled because I download too much and violated the fair use policy.
I pay for uncapped so why can't I download as much as I want? These past 2 months I hardly downloaded anything, only 2 games for my PS4 and since that was around 50gb, I violated the agreement since it says that fair usage is 15gb - 20gb.
I have to get most of my games, movies etc digitally because I can't leave my house too often. What about disabled people who have to get their things digitally?! Fair use is such a broad term since different people will use their internet differently.
RsaWeb has great service and are always very fast to help when there is a problem but this is just crazy. I know Telkom also has this policy but 7 of my friends have Telkom as an ISP and they download 100gb - 200gb a month and they've never been throttled.
I don't know what can be done about this, but considering how much we pay for internet in SA, we shouldn't be limited like this.
