I got my daughter a samsung s3 mini in october last year. She had it a few days and dropped it which caused a hairline crack in the screen. Last week she complained that the battery is going flat very quickly. I sent the phone in to have it checked by vodacom and the technical team say they want to replace the screen at a cost of R1300 and that will stop the battery going flat. I have never heard of anything like this ever before and i think its absolute nonsense. The 2 have nothing to do with each other and the phone is 4 months old.
