Black Berry bold curve heating up

I recently up graded to the new black berry curve touch
After 1 month, cannot upgrade to the latest software, as the phone heat up and drain battery.
I cannot back up software on my phone' as well on my desk top
When connecting cell to my laptop, heat up n completely drain battery
I believe that I am not the only one experiencing this problem
i regret for not renewing to iPhone or samsung
Now my phone is completely stuck, frozen, I cannot make or receive calls.
My previous BB phone, had other problem n now sitting in the bin.
Left a bad taste in my mouth.
