I called customer service and asked for a product to use my phone as a modem. The sales person suggested a product and sold it to me. When I got to the destination and could not get it to work Vodacom sales now told me I had to go to a Vodacom outlet to download software for it to work - unfortunately I was at a camp site with no Vodacom stores around. The Vodacom sales should have told me first off that software is needed to run what they are selling then i could have seen to that before i left for holiday. Due to me not having a modem and not being able to do some work that i was required to do, I was greatly inconvenienced. Now Vodacom has not responded to 3 service requests, they put in writing in the sms they send you after your call to them that they will contact customer within 24h to sort out, but nothing. it is not the cost of the data that i am asking them to reverse that is annoying me it is the lack service that we pay for and pay for we do. I need feedback Vodacom
