Towards end Nove 2012 I took up the Vodacom ONLINE offer of 500mb data for R79. I checked that the device can work with Windows XP on the website as well as calling the technical call centre. All good.
Received device 25th Nov, software installs then unistalls. Call technical call centre - agent goes through basics then tells me they can not really support Vodacom Online customers and I must call the SALES callcentreConversations on 26 Nov, 27 Nov, 4 Dec, 5 Dec and numerous calls that went unanswered up to 6 minutes before I gave up.
In all instances the call centre agents REFUSED to give me a call number. The device STILL does not work, I can STILL not return it as Vodacom Online have no offices and I am being BILLED for this since December.
Point blank refusal by Vodacom to honour their terms of cancellation, I immediatly notified them that the device does not work, they were unable to offer any customer service and refuse to terminated the contract.
My cell contract is coming up for renewal soon - Cell C has given me excellent service when I had to buy data from them, I think I will give them a chance as Vodacom is a dishonest firm who treats their clients like fools!
