Endless problems with Telkom

I have spent close to R1000 in the last three days, just calling after Telkom. They are completely incompetent.

I have 6 ADSL lines. Two of them went down. They promised to send a technician after I logged a fault, but he never showed up or called.

I have also registered 4 uncapped internet accounts. 1 out of the 4 works. The other 3 are inactive. When I called in to ask them what is going on, it takes them ages to give me an answer (when they don't just drop the call). Every time I have to verify who I am.

They say the 3 accounts are inactive, so I must talk to the "Account Activation Department". I get put through and they say they can't enable the accounts because my Telkom account has an outstanding balance. The problem is that I have paid my outstanding balance and even logged the payment at the Telkom branch. So I am sure there is R0 outstanding.

So they put me through to the "Accounts department". They say that even though my account has an outstanding balance (WHICH IT SHOULDN'T!!!), that it shouldn't affect my internet accounts.

So now I don't know what to do. They won't enable my accounts and they won't log my payments.

Absolutely useless. The worst company in SA.
