Mtn
6 weeks and still no phone

My phone was given to MTN Galleria on 30th December 2012 as my Blackberry screen had turned white for no reason. They commented that this was a common fault of the Blackberry and that they would send it away to see if it could be repaired and, if not, replaced. They said it would take 3 weeks. They also told me that a loan phone was not company policy in the interim. After three weeks I wanted to check where my phone was in the MTN system - I phoned a toll free number, however a crucial number in the MTN Technical Fault Report (the IMEI number) was not entered. Jerry (MTN Galleria salesman) did not enter this very important number - also interesting to note that Jerry seems to be a regular bad service transgressor on Hello Peter. Without this number I was unable to track my phone and had to rely on store visits for information on my phone which was not helpful at all.

I just got back from the Galleria store (5th February) to collect my phone, however it is still not there. The Manager, Sumeshin, had advised me to collect my phone on the 28th of January!! Sumeshin did not phone or keep me up to date on the whereabouts of the phone.
