I recently signed a contract with MWEB to provide me with 2 contracts at R89 a month for 2GB of Cell C Data to be used on iPads.

Prior to signing the contract, myself and the sales consultant confirmed that the coverage included at least my house and office. I further confirmed that places I routinely travel between had Cell C coverage. Since activation of the sims, I have not been able to make use of this data contract as a result of the complete lack of signal seemingly everywhere I go.

I have been trying since Monday 28 January 2013 to contact the call centre, and following a combined 4 hours on hold, I have decided that this is a worthless exercise. I have also tried contacting the store, and following a number of calls going to a voice message service, I managed to get hold of a salesperson in store on 5 February 2013.

After explaining my situation, and the fact that I am not happy with this service, and that I want to cancel it due to non performance, the salesperson told me that the only way to cancel the contract is to pay for the remaining period. This is completely unaccpetable!!!

I will not pay for goods or services which i do not receive!!!
