MTN Y'ello phone me now to sell me products (they should NOT even have my name and number). When I answered the call there was a lot of talking in the background before someone spoke to me.
He didn't ask if I had time to talk and I interrupted and told him I was in a meeting.
He said he would call back later as he would "need a lot of my time".
I asked him what it was about as I probably didn't want to be called back later. He said "I will tell you when I call back later" - I asked him to tell me now and he said to me "Are you really in a meeting or are you yanking my chain? "
Really?! Like I would really buy a product from someone who speaks to me like that?!?!?
And why is MTN calling me when I have never, ever given them my number. Are they so desperate for customers that they have to buy distribution lists?!
