Time wasted and money hungry!

After receiving my galaxy s4 from Cell C direct on 20/01/2014, I needed to change my sim to a microsim. I went to the branch only to be told they're offline. Fair enough, that is beyond the staffs control and the guy I dealt with is genuine as I've dealt with him before. He advised I return the next day.

I got to the branch at 17:50, I could see the standee inside as if they're ready to close. A lady assisted me. I asked her if it's possible to activate a dual sim for me (like Cell C had done for my girlfriend). The lady said that she can but it'll be R250. I asked her why my girlfriend got it for free but now they're charging to which she replied "because they're a franchise." I then asked can she then do a sim swap? Yes, at R50!!! I asked her what's the difference between me buying a 99c sim card and doing it myself?? She couldn't sell me a micro sim because they have to register the card as they sell them.. She advised I go to pep and purchase a sim card from them, at 17:55 and the stores close at 18:00. Did I mention that pep is on the other side of the mall!!! Thanks for wasting my time Northgate.
