I don't believe MTN honestly, i was in Durban CBD, The Worshop and i came across these ladies with MTN jackets / beeps who sell airtime and sim cards. i asked this lady for sim card as i wanted to do Sim Swap, the lady refused to give me the card and told me to go to Pick n Pay or Pep for new card. i thn asked her y she wont give me one, and she said their manager told them not to give card for people who want sim swaps as they have to sell new card with R30 as it will come with R30 MTN to MTN, so basically i am paying for the free R30 airtime that comes with new card. i told the lady to keep the R30 airtime coz i dont need it, i only want to get my number back. she rudely said then go to pick n pay. i asked her who she reports to then she said bopela in mountedge combe in uMhlanga. so i would like to know from mtn why do they have these ladys on the street if we wont get any service from them...? this is ridiculous. Why charge me R30 for new sim card whereas we can get it for R1 from stores...? R30 free airtime is dat supposed to be a promo for us to get new cards or we must pay for it? please reply online as i dnt have contact number and will forward response to Sifiso Dabengwa
