My boyfriend has a Vodacom account for a Blackberry cellphone - he called customer care to have a R600 limit put on his phone, which they confirmed had been activated. Now, a few months later ( /- 3 months), he gets a text saying his account is over R1000, then another saying its R3000.79. He phoned customer care to find out how this is possible but they are useless. For the last /- 2 months he's been on the phone with them trying to sort this out but the level of service he's received is shocking. They usually tell him they'll phone him back (which they NEVER do), or, they tell him they're putting him through to the manager but then end the call. A woman even put the phone down in his ear once as he was talking. So, the money was deducted from his account without any kind of explanation. Now, not even a month later, he receives another sms saying his account is over R3000 & they cut his service. He phoned customer care AGAIN & they refuse to help him, saying they didn't deduct the money previously (he has an sms from ABSA confirming it was deducted). He even went to Vodacom at Canal Walk but they say they can't help him. So, what can we do?! This is! How do we stop it??!
