Moved into new home. I had a new Telkom line installed/transferred on 06/01/2014. Line was operational when Telkom engineer left on 06/01/2014.
2 days later (08/01/2014) the line were not working again. The matter was reported to Telkom on 08/01/2014.
I am still waiting for line to be repaired. The previous owners reported that they also had the same problem various times that Telkom is not fixing the line connection PERMANENTLY and it was also the same case with them that the line was repaired and 2 days later it was not working again.
When I spoke to Telkom on 10/01/2014 they informed me they will SEE when the line can be repaired and had confirmed that it was a line problem.
I am on the verge of getting this ongoing issue escalated to highest Telkom technical management and to get service cancelled and going to other providers like Neotel etc.
I just whish that this problem of intermittent line issue can be repaired permanently now and put to bed.
