Still no resolution even after escalation

I posted a report on Telkom regarding my line which is noisy on HelloPeter a week ago and despite the promise of an escalation (and ref number) by the person in the escalation centre, nothing has been done. I phoned Telkom again yesterday and after holding for close to 20 minutes I was eventually told that the call was not yet assigned to the technical team. So much for the escalation! It seems there is a huge disconnect between the call centre and the escalation department. The lady I spoke to said she was escalating to her supervisor to email the technical division to attend to the call. I am still waiting for Telkom...
