I have an MTN data contract that is expiring on the 18th Of January 2014. My intention is to migrate the contract to prepaid once it lapses.
sequence of events :
I attempted calling the number listed for cancellations on the MTN website and the number does not exist.
I e-mailed the address their website provides to request a cancellation (5 days ago) and no one has responded yet.
I called the call center asking them to give me the phone number for cancellations and i was told cancellations doesn't have a phone number.
I asked for an e-mail address or alternative way to put through my request to migrate to prepaid and i was told there is no alternative, the only way to get in touch with cancellations is to be patched through via the 0831808 call center.
As I type this, i've been on hold for 50 (FIFTY!!) minutes waiting for cancellations to pick up my call.
MTNs cancellations are disgusting, i was going to migrate and continue being an MTN subscriber but now i'm definitely porting out of MTN after this.
