I stand corrected, but in terms of the consumer protection act one has 7 days terminate a contract. I went to the vodacom shop to upgrade my contract that i had for the past 10 plus years and i got the phone i wanted at good rate, but now that i am experiencing problems with the phone they expect me to wait 7 days before they can provide me with a replacement phone, but when i was signing the contract the salesman advised that i can get a replacement phone if there is anything goes wrong within the first 7 days where after they will only repair the phone under the warranty.
If this is Vodacoms attatude with customers that has supported them for more than a decade then i dont want to know what happens to new clients.
just to conclude that this was not the first time i have to go back with a phone, the last time i had to wait 4 weeks for something that was suppose to happen within 4 days.
Thanks vodacom for keeping me out of touch with my loved ones and friends
