Vodacom
Sony Xperia V faulty

I have had the phone for 8 months. The phone has been in for "repairs" 3 times (for a total of 2 months out of my possession). It is now suffering from a problem similar to the one resolved by the previous repairs. This is unacceptable. I want a replacement phone.

3 weeks in the screen started locking and it could only be resolved by a "battery restart". The phone was taken in for assessment and repair for 3 weeks. When it was returned to me it worked for approximately 2 weeks before suffering the same problem.By this time I was heading overseas and was unable to return the phone for repairs.

When I returned to South Africa at the end of July I brought the phone in for repairs. It was sent away for two weeks. When it was returned I it was suffering the same problem. No repair had occurred. Within a day I returned the phone and it was again sent away for repair. When it returned, two weeks later, it appeared to be working properly. That was the beginning of September.

Near the end of November, the phone began to restart itself when the battery was at 60%. It would then enter a cycle of restarting and shutting down until the battery was drained.

This is where I am now.
