Continued failure to act positively to request

After expiration of my cell phone contract I elected to enter into another contract by which I was to receive a new phone as well as additional services. However, before receiving such a phone and before receiving the benefits as per the new agreement, I contacted 8ta, in September 2013, and informed them of my intention to cancel the contract and they responded positively thereto.

Subsequent to the request made to cancel the contract, 8ta has continued to charge me for the services and to-date I have not received either the services nor has the new phone been dispatched to me. I have made them aware of the continued deductions made to my bank account and have contacted my bank, in attempt to block deductions, but am told that 8ta makes deductions making use of different reference numbers as well as different deduction dates.

I have lodged a complaint at the Menlyn Shopping Centre branch as well as one of their branches in Durban. As at the time of typing this email I have received an email from them with an Invoice relating to the services and phone as mentioned above making reference to apparent amounts owing. I am highly disgruntled my this matter.
