MTN client services regarding complaints

I sent the following email to MTN's customer care email address 9 days ago and have received no response to date. I have a complaint regarding the cancellation of my two contracts which I have with MTN which is expiring on 15 November 2013. On 23 September 2013 I requested in writing to give notice to cancel my two contracts so that no deductions will be made from my account after the two contracts have expired. I also requested to change my numbers to prepaid as from 16 November 2013. I phoned the call centre, 808, on 29 October 2013 to give notice to cancel my two contracts once again. I was informed that if I want to cancel my contracts and convert to prepaid, I can only do this on 16 November 2013. The day after my contracts expire. I was also informed that I will lose all the airtime which I have on my phone currently. This is unacceptable. I paid for the airtime during my contract, and I will still be staying at MTN on a prepaid basis, why MUST my airtime be forfeited?? I don't understand this. I want the following please:
1. Keep the current airtime on my two numbers (as stated above) after my contracts expire
2. No deductions will be made from my account
