Elite Mobile
Unauthorized deductions for Fonesure

I was contacted on 01/10/2012 by a sales person from Elite Mobile with an offer to upgrade my Vodacom data card for a monthly installment of R99.00. I have agreed to this upgrade and made it clear that I required no additional products from them. Subsequently an amount of R49.50 was deducted from my account for Fonesure insurance. I spoke to Titus, Denzil, and Clayton to have this cancelled immediately and my money refunded, but was told that they would first request the recordings of the sales conversation to determine whether I have authorised this payment or not. No one ever got back to me on this and further deductions are made from my account monthly. I contacted customer services again and spoke to Natasha and Titus who explained that they do not have the ability to cancel the insurance as this could only be done if I personally phone Fonesure. I refused to do this as my contract is with Elite Mobile and not with Fonesure. I have never dealt with Fonesure or authorised an agreement with them on my behalf. On 29/01/2013 I was promised by Natasha that she would take care of this. Payments are still deducted from my account. I want it cancelled and all monies refunded.
