Good day,
I trust you are well. I am rather frustrated. I canceled my contract in Nov 2013 as I was leaving the country and could not commit to paying for it. Instead I paid a cancelation fee of R 3237.23 and after I spoke to a number of reps from the retentions department.
I emailed Rhulani Mashosini on the 23rd Nov and just informed him that I had paid the cancelation fee, I did not receive a response. But I received a bill for the cellphone contract.
I received another one in December, and I forwarded the same email to Unice Oor, and still no response.
The only commitment I have with MTN right now is the bundles contract which expires end of Jan 2014, and I requested that it be discontinued, please can this be checked as well as I am not sure of anything right now. I cannot be billed for a canceled contract that has been paid for and also my number is no longer in service, I dont understand how I can continue to be billed.
I would really appreciate some sort of response on this please. I resorted to Hellopeter because I don't know how else to reach MTN as I cannot call from where I am.
Thank you!
