Cancelation department service

I have been on the phone for more than an hour with no response. I was told to cancel my contract a month before it expires to not be billed. I called the call center agent on the 6th December 2013, he told me he logged a request for retentions department to call me.

It has now been 10 days later, no call from retentions, no information on the call that I logged to call me and a hour on the line and yet still nothing. I'm really off with mtn now. If I have to pay another month they will certainly see my lawyers.
