I have a 3G contract with MTN. I have had very sporadic coverage for at least 3 weeks and for the last week I have had no coverage at all. I spke to technical assist on friday who advised they were aware that there was maintenance on a tower so were unable to assist me and advised that I call the mtn coverage contact number on monday when they open again.
I have just called them this morning who advised that yes there is no coverage with the tower that covers my area. I said that i have had no coverage for a week and they also said that they do not know when it will be fixed. I was meant to be working from hom but I could not access my emails and also all my family is abroad in the UK and I had no means of being in contact with them.
I want to know when the service will be restored anad also what can be done about the fact that i am paying for a service that i havent got.
