I purchased an Apple ipad air on the 21st December 2013, on purchase I was not asked to inspect the item before leaving the store. Everytime I have ever purchased from any other Vodacom store I have always been asked to look at the item and check for damages before leaving the store. I had bought the ipad for my wife for Christmas only to find out that it was first of all not even the right color I had requested and the product was damaged. When I returned to the Vodacom store on the 26th December 2013 to replace it, I was told it would take 5 working days to send it back for a technician to inspect it before replacing the damaged ipad that was sold to me damaged. We received very bad service from the manager and the employee, they were argumentative and this service is not acceptable. I told the manager Shaun that we want to cancel the contract if they cannot replace the ipad for the right color and one that is not damaged. Shaun then said that he will cancel the contract. This should not be the only way out, my complaint was not handled in a professional manner and I was not treated as a valued customer at all. I have never received service like this ever before.
