Used to have a contract with Neotel, but due to slow and irregular data transmission and continuous problems cancelled it and went onto prepaid, after a number of termination letters being sent.
Today, on Christmas Eve, I tried to contact relatives and was told by recorded message that my prepaid airtime validity has expired.
Bought airtime for the amount of R100.00, to top up. Firstly, the voucher DOES NOT have a dialing No. to top up, so had to scratch out the old file to find the client service center number.
Called client service, on a Telkom line, but all their consultants are continuously busy, while I pay to listen to music. Eventually scratched out info in the old file and found 240 and 241, numbers...
They tell me "the validity has expired on 24.12.13 and my balance is R185.98". This is today's date! So now I cannot recharge my account and have a useless R100.00 voucher that I cannot use. This is crazy!
