Paying R488 instead of R399 for 1MB Premium Uncapp

I was on MWEB's 1MB Premium Uncapped at R488 p/m. Telkom changed their line speed from 1MB to 2MB last year and recently from 2MB to 4MB, MWEB followed suit, and come out with a new product 1MB Premium Uncapped at R339. According to MWEB, I had not replied to their email and make a "choice", that's why I was still paying R488. I have phoned MWEB to try to get to the bottom of this, yet their only statement was "MWEB notified its customers to call us to make the change". This is the email taken from my mweb email account, the only relevant was
"Premium Uncapped ADSL customers will have a choice to either stay on the same data threshold or move to a standard package with lower data thresholds."
Nowhere does it make clear that one needed to called MWEB, it merely says that one has the choice. But given that if one did not contact MWEB, one would stay on the "same data threshold" (which is the 1MB Premium uncapped), and not "same contact signed" and hence the high cost of R488. Because if one stayed on the "same data threshold", the same data threshold is R339 for the 1MB Premium Uncapped and not the R488. Yet, MWEB feels justified for charging R488 for something that they charge R339!
